Waxing Doesn't Have to Hurt Like a Bit*h
How long does my hair need to be?
We ask that you let all stages of your hair grow at least 1/4 inch. However for a more thorough waxing, please allow your hair to grow 2 weeks!! (Please do not trim hair for us!)
What is the deal with double dipping?
Double dipping is the practice of dipping the same stick in the wax more than once, thus contaminating the entire pot of wax (ew!) But not to worry, here at Bombshell, we use a new stick each dip!

How do I care for the area afterwards?
Avoid touching waxed areas for 24 hours. Hands carry bacteria, even washed hands!
No sun or tanning bed exposure for at least 24 hours.
No hot showers or vigorous exercise for 24 hours after waxing.
Remember to exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! You need to remove dead skin cells so the hair can grow in naturally. Your Waxologist will recommend a treatment plan for you that will include aftercare, cleansing products and hair growth inhibitors.
I'm Pregnant. Can I still get a Brazilian wax?
Generally, it is medically safe to wax while pregnant. Please consult your doctor or physician before you book a waxing appointment.
Can I get a Brazilian wax while on my period?
Yes of course! You must wear a clean tampon. If you’re modest you can tuck your string andwe’ll never even know. If you prefer to reschedule your appointment we do ask you for 6 hours notice.
Can I get a Brazilian wax if I'm transgendered?
Yes, absolutely! We are happy to serve everyone. You’re welcome to schedule under the name and gender, under which you identify, and our prices (unlike most places) do not change based on gender! With that in mind, if your gender identity and your genitals differ, we ask that you call in advance, simply so that we may ensure your Waxologist is experienced with the service.
How often will i need to wax?
We prefer you return when hairs are in the "early anagen" stage. This is when the hairs begin to grow back, and is about 1/4 inch long. Many places recommend a standard 4-6 week protocol, but with our Unlimited membership options, we can see you sooner, keeping you smoother longer, and reducing discomfort.
How do I prepare for my Airbrush Tan?
Before your sunless tanning session...
Instructions are the same if you are preparing for your professional spray tanning session or an at home session.
Skin should be clean, dry and exfoliated before being sprayed. Don’t apply moisturizers, oils, or makeup before your tanning appointment. They can effect tan development.
Wear dark, loose, easily cleaned clothing to appointment. If you’re modest bring a dark swimsuit.
Style hair in a hairclip or ponytail so it will be off of face and neck.
You will not be able to get wet or sweaty for at least 6 to 8 hours – so please plan accordingly.
Bring a towel to cover leather or light colored car seats.
If it is raining we prefer to reschedule, however if you must please bring an umbrella, hoodie and rain boots.
How do I choose a solution?
Our highly trained airbrush artists will help you choose the perfect solution for your skin!
We have many solution options available, from deep bronze, to sunkisses, and everything in between! We have boosters that provide a faster developing tan, anti-aging aloe, and evem SHIMMER additives!
How do I care for my Airbrush Tan?
To keep your tan looking great as long as possible:
Wear loose fitting clothing for 6 to 8 hours, while tan develops.
Don’t exercise, sweat, swim, or bathe for 6 to 8 hours.
After 8 to 12 hours, shower normally. Don’t use exfoliates or abrasives.
Wash with a mild shower gel or soap, preferably moisturizing.
Color wash off in the shower is normal: this is only the color guide tint. (cosmetic bronzer) Your tan will continue to develop over the next 12 to 24 hours.
Pat (don’t rub) skin dry.
Apply a moisturizer or body butter to shower damp skin.
Hot tubs, swimming pools, and even extended time in the ocean will fade your tan more quickly.
